Viva La Mexico!!

For our one-year anniversary, Joe surprised me with a four day trip to Mexico.  That's right, one year.  Can't wait to see what comes with the two year.  He rocks.

Anyway, it was beautiful.  The Hotel Suite that we stayed in, number 21 at "La Fonda," was right on the beach.  The entire west side of the room was a window.  We woke up to the waves every morning.  This was our sweet lil suite . . .

My first goal was not to unpack, visit the locals, or even take a walk on the beach- no sir!  First things first- I had to have a margarita.  It's important to prioritize when traveling.

Then we visited the locals.

Joe got a great deal on this frog, made out of shells, and taking a dump.  The frog was creatively crafted by a petite five-foot nothing, seventy-two year old woman.  Random.  He even had a lil brown shell carefully glued to the inside of his toilet.  We've grown quite fond of him.

Here's his big ceramic brother.

I love the vibrant colors found throughout Mexico.

Take a second with this one . . . this was our view from the bathroom.
And Joe's love note, stenciled out through the steamy glass.

Number 21.  I highly recommend it.  What an awesome get-away.
