at the ripe age of fifteen, I was handed my first camera- an old beat up 35mm Ricoh fully equiped with a flash and three lenses. I adored that camera, took it everywhere. Surprisingly it survived most of my young life but it wasn't until I moved to London for a year, dragging my Ricoh by it's last legs, that I realized I wanted to make a career out of this. That year, as I traveled throughout Europe, Asia, and Africa I began to realize the power behind this art- to capture color, texture, and light while preserving its emotional quality, equating sight with touch, taste, scent, and sound . . . and all within a small glass canvas. It's powerful.
I love what I do and continue to travel recording as much as I can. I've updated the camera though (Ricoh took a bad spill back in 03' and never recovered).

So enough with the why and on with the what, here are just a few of those past adventures . . .
